Most women trying to get pregnant already know some basics about conception such as temperature charting and ovulation planning. What most potential mothers tend to overlook is dieting and weight loss or gain. When women exceed the average weight for their specific demographic, or even excessively underweight, it can cause an irregular or inconsistent ovulation pattern, otherwise known as a sporadic cycle. Studies show that these sporadic cycles could possibly cause female infertility. Maintaining a healthy balanced diet, will not only help to maintain a healthy weight but will keep hormone levels steady. Which will reduce the chances of a sporadic cycle from occurring, that can cause fertility problems.
Vitamins are Important for Inner Health
Zinc can be found in pumpkin seeds, eggs, nuts, baked beans, oysters, red meat, poultry, seafood (like crab or lobster), fortified cereals, whole grain and dairy products. Oysters have also been known to serve as a libido enhancer.
Vitamin B and E commonly found in oats, brown rice, peanuts, sunflower seeds, beans, and sweet potatoes. Are essential for the production of healthy sperm or egg cells and maintaining a healthy hormone balance.
Do Your Research Before Trying to Get Pregnant
Folic acid can be commonly found in pinto beans, chickpeas, lentils, black eyed peas, enriched bread and pasta, whole wheat bread and pasta, orange juice, okra, asparagus, grapefruits, pineapple, and leafy greens like spinach and kale all aid in healthy ovaries and sperm.
Research studies have found that women who eat at least one portion of full fat dairy foods a day have less fertility problems, as opposed to women who consume non-dairy or low fat dairy foods. Fats found in flaxseed oil and oily fish like mackerel, salmon, sardines, herring, and trout aids when trying to maintain a healthy reproductive system, blood flow, and improve the quality and speed of sperm.
Doctor's Visits are Vital for a Healthy Pregnancy
Although information on this subject is widespread, still many do not know that some of the most common causes for infertility are related to ovulation and having a sporadic cycle can have a negative effect on ovulation patterns, sometimes resulting in female infertility. Keep in mind, that there maybe other underlying medical reasons for infertility, so always consult with your doctor for medical conditions relevant to you.
